# 1939 report, all about gasifiers for transportation, very detailed

I found this 40-some page report back in 1973:

It was written by the British as wwii was approaching, because GB hadn’t gotten into gasification like the rest of Europe had. I Think the tax laws on vehicles discouraged large displacement engines, which made producer gas hard to use.
