Arduino Auto Mixing System

How are going to home the stepper? Then control it? Servos are very easy and less complex to code plus wire there is only one signal wire. You only need a $5 dollar servo for this. Its just moving a butterfly plate there is zero load it has to move.

These kits are not that expensive anymore

This the AEM generic brand version. Amazon.com: Wideband UEGO Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge 52mm (2-1/16”) with 4.9 LSU Sensor, Digital AFR Controller Gauge, Wideband O2 Control Sensor kit | 0-5V Analog Output (10-20 AFR Range) : Automotive

Yeah I don’t think cost is a huge factor anymore. Even a replacement O2 sensor is at most $80, and they’ll last for years unless you’re burning oil or something else that would poison the sensor.

I got the same wideband kit.

I like this topic.
Many of us are or have been tinkering with more or less unique systems.
Similar as gasifiers, I enjoy each of those idea’s.

For simplicity, it would not be easier to bypass those AEM sets , see Matt Ryders achievements, I play with those as well.

So far I try to keep it KISS by using the DBW valve, easy to be found at a scrap yard, an AEM set and a basic arduino setup.
Add some sensors from the gas pedal, and you can ref the settings to: WOT/ go rich for acceleration, middle for Cruising/ at perfect AFR, and at zero throttle go lean .
Just my 2 cents and coz i have a lot of used/unused gizmo’s around to play with…:grin:

@AndreasTs
I am a little lazy like, allow me to ask for detail about Servo Tester Module .

@Matt Maybe i am able to do things different, but by no means able to do it better than you are doing it.
Still am and will always be an admirer / fan of your work.

@k_vanlooken I am also still experimenting. I agree that Matt has done an excellent job. I am also looking for an easy approach. I am utilizing ChatGPT AI to get some answers. As soon as my theory works, then I will post something more solid.
