The problem with wild asparagus when it starts popping up out of the ground is not eating most of it before you get home.

We went to the cove about two miles up river from the house. We walk the dog Marley a couple times a day to keep her in shape, Right. In the rocky shores on the river bank was more wild onions. Brought a bunch home.

Pretty soon now we will be overrun with Ramps Bob. Not quite the same as your wild onions. They will last maybe a month and be done and the ferns will take over. We are not big on the culinary arts and don’t really use any forage foods but glad to know they are around if the need arose.
