# Clay gasifier?

As i was working thru designs of gasifiers, I was thinking, why not build they pyrothis chamber out of clay? Yes it would be heavy but since I am looking to have my gasifier at a fixed location it just might work for me.
Just curious if anyone has went down this road, seems like it would be a challenge to make the first mold but after that you could press them out like hotcakes. It would seem also to me that clay would be very duriable.
