Looking wayyyyyyyy ahead… if I ever get a wood fired vehicle running, it’ll probably be fired on wood pellets- very dense, free flowing and widely available in the UK as horse bedding or cat litter, although at wildly varying prices. At present- in the height of the summer- the most plentiful source of wood is scrap pallets, but that’s likely to change in the winter, when people fire up their wood burning stoves, and in the longer term as the UK Renewable Heat Initiative takes off.
