Jono if you want something just to test out, @Matt has made a no weld ammo box charcoal gasifier.

If you read it before I edit it in, I’m going to link some posts of the build. You’d have to make the charcoal and size it down but that’s as easy as burning wood in a barrel and snuffing it with the lid, then breaking it up with a shovel.

> Sure, I’ll go find it and edit it into this comment. Have you seen Matt’s video on his ammo box gasifier? [[Ammo Box No Weld Gasifier Build Tutorial Segment 1] ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Er-4T9H-GM)[[Ammo Box No Weld Gasifier Build Tutorial Segment 2] ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgAyYl_AATk)[[Ammo Box No Weld Gasifier Build Tutorial Segment 3] ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQv7DkMiH-A) Matt found a better way to make his nozzles without needing to cut threads on the nozzle pipe. He uses the 1" couple and puts in a 1" to 3/4" reducer bushing. He then takes a 3/4" pipe and cut…

Since he made these videos he’s updated the nozzle design. Use this nozzle style in that build with the videos.

I have this issue with all the 1/2" pipes I can buy they’re just a little too thick to fit in a 3/4" pipe

I want to say Matt has powered a 420cc Harbor Freight engine with this design but I can’t quite remember.
