Hey guys im new here

I was wondering if anyone had some plans for a good gasification system to run my Toyota hilux

The best way to go about it is buy the book, which gives access to the juicy part of the site, and study, study, build, build. Or study up on other systems, (Non WK style systems) and build. The people here will be happy to help you with any questions.

Hi Tiki, The main questions to answer, what will you be doing with the truck? A 318 in a Dakota is good for highway driving 60 - 70 but on flat to modest hill country. A 4 cylinder or small 6 will be under powered for speed, but still able to work at low speed. On the other hand, a 4 cylinder in a tractor will work pretty well going slow doing work. You will lose 25-30% of your horsepower on woodgas. David Siedschlag’s 89 Toyota is the only one I know of on this site.

Hear is a simple gasifier. It was built for a 8 HP engine but as you can see he ran it on a 2 L Ford.
