Ok guys a update. In short. I have had trouble with the car runing on dino from last December. Just before Argos it compleely died andwas towed home. I discovered half a gallon of water in the tank/lines, but at the time l cleaned the rusty gunky water sat in the delicate Bosch K jetronic fuel injection system for over a month. I was trying to kick it back to life for months but it was no use. Finaly l had enough.
I am not buying it new, and the condition of used ones is quetionable. Time for some redneckin.
Fryday l went parts hunting and in 3th junk yard l found a brandn new Lada carbourator. Its a all mechanic simple Russia tech carb with float and everything. So, Sathurday l hooked it on. I messed up and fited the woodgas connecion wrong on the intake manifold so it let air in and it caused me to present some Serbian language as the engine wuld only run under choke. Then a big backfire shot out the temporairy woodgas pipe plug and gave me this
and caused some more Serbian languae but l fixed the leak, adjusted the carb and now it runs as good as it ever did with original injection.
Now, you might be asking what the hell is wrong with me, every woodgaser runs away from carbs, but l throw injection out and instal a carb??? Well, l have 2 throtle boddys and hybriding is not a problem at all. Intake burning is second in line for a headacke, but l have a unique oppertunity here. This kind of injection has 4 main mechanical injectors and one electronic for startup. The 4 main ones are not in function any more but the startup nozzle can be hooked on to petrol supply and opened via 12 signal, alowing the engine to idle without a carb injecting fuel in the intake manifold. It can then be burned jus like a MPFI.
