I finally found some info about ASEA-“Milo” wood gasifier, made in small series in Ludvika, Sweden.




These gasifiers was know to “backfire” alot, owners of these seldom had any eyebrows left.
I don’t know why, it’s the only thing i’ve heard about them.

Charcoal gasifier from “Bruzaholms bruk” a foundry known for making hydraulic ram pumps, whereof one is placed in a museum, known to have operated unattended for 70 years.
They also made stirling engines by Ericssons patented model.

This is as “stealth” a woodgasifier could be at the time.

Finland made “Puskuuri” charcoal gasifier.

Finland made woodgas cart, trade name “Monorator” yes, it’s made by the inventor of the monorator.

French participant in “Rallye Monte Carlo” 1939, Panhard with charcoal gasifier.
Some German gasifiers, altought producers of the famous Imbert, Germany had very small amount of woodgas/charcoal cars and trucks, until fuel supplies started to get low.

“Süd-gas” wood.

“Ostmark/Gustloff” wood, interesting construction.

“Deutz” wood, central nozzle from the bottom.

“Wisco” wood.

“Mercedes-Benz” antracite, with high and low nozzles, for varying gas demand.
