Preheat intake air

I am starting to plan for a light weight wood gasifier with a ceramic insulated firetube on the order of Dustin Moore and Paul McCombie’s units. I want it to be easily disassembled but the hard part is connecting the air preheat to the nozzles in a small space (I need to keep the overall dimensions down). My question is this.
