Seems like a good song for a cold winters day. Lord Franklin disappearing in the ice.

Our family has a shared workshop. Since we are related, we all share my personal genetic problem of clutter. Clutter is a mild word for “no place to walk or work.” The music I’d like to share does not fit well with our current shop. But…the day is coming when I will have neat and clean shop. Maybe. If it is good for me, if it is what I need. The shop today is used some for creating, but mostly for repair. A lot of stuff breaks. Maybe you’ve noticed this? The day is coming when things will not break. There will be no sickness, no death. When the day comes, if it honors my Father in Heaven, I will have the clean shop to do what pleases Him. I may not need it, I’m not sure. But I look forward to that day, shop or no shop. And when I hear this music, these words, I’m thankful beyond words that Christmas means the day is coming, because the King and Savior has come. The words are from the Gospel of John, Chapter 1.

God bless you all, and your families, homes, and shops this Christmas.

STAND UP, OVERCOME FEAR
Who said that passion is dangerous, kindness is ridiculous,
That in our age courage is not needed?
As in old times, the wall often collapses from the wind.
Be strong and the storm is not terrible

Who said one is not a warrior, not a value,
Who said other times?
The world is cruel and restless, after the wave the wave
Do not be shy and she will not bring down

Get up, overcome fear
Stand up to your full height
Get up on your land
And reach out to the stars

Who said live humbly do not look for a rune,
Do not fly and do not dive to the bottom?
Steel is light, fate is nimble; worthless
Who is tired and dozing by the window

Who said the struggle is in vain, evil is stronger than good?
Who said save yourself, here’s a hole?
The path is hard, but the goal is beautiful, like a campfire
Man, your hour has come, it’s time.

For some reason, it rarely happens that heavy metal rock has a fairly deep meaning of the lyrics. One of the few exceptions. From the age of 16 I like this song, it is in this performance.

Bit different - yes - and not really my kind of music, but I’ve always been secretly in love with Helen Sjöholm. With this performance she brings me both goosebumps and tears.
