So here is the updated nozzle assembly I am using now. Rather than bang a tap into the pipe that makes up the body and threading in the smaller pipe that makes up the nozzle. I now just cut a cross on the end of the body pipe and insert the nozzle. The tapered pipe thread then clamps the nozzle in place like a taper lock coupling.
