Last Woodgas Project: Building a charcoal gasifier for small engines
02/09/19 Project Status: Functioning Prototype - approx 5hr run time. ~600-700 watt output

Project Design: Gilmore Style gasifier with a 10" diameter reactor drum mounted to a 5 gallon fuel hopper. Leitinger style nozzle with a single 1/2" hole. Water drip with an in-hopper heat exchanger to preheat the steam. Ammo can filled with wool as the gas filter. Air and gas mixing with 3/4" gate valves, and plumbed to the carb on a crappy generator that could cough out 1300W on gas.

Charcoal Production: Clay lined barrel (pyramid kiln type) yields 30 gallons/day w/ 2 hrs of minimal tending.
Charcoal Processing: 1/2HP Gilmore style rotary grinder.
Wood Supply: 80 Acres of mixed species woodland in the Willamette valley (i.e. unlimited)
