Using PVC pipe. It can be bent by heating to about 230 deg. F. You tube has lots of info. I bent this piece of 1 1/4" schedule 80 by hand using heat from a heat gun.
This could come in handy when coming up through a tight engine compartment. Fittings take up a lot of room and are not always just the right angle.
Yery good idea Dave! Gets a little smelly while hot so don’t do it in enclosed area.

If you duct tape the ends it will build pressure inside & will help with the colapsing issue.That’s conduit bending 101.
Also, you can heat the PVC and then shrink it around something. For example, 2" id PVC heated and shrunk around 2" id copper.
