was going through my archives and thought I would add to this thread of my shop wood burner which is made out of 275 gallon fuel oil tank has fire tube heat ex changers thermostatic controlled blower and I have a waste oil drip. can take a 12 x 40" log bottom is lined with sand and fire brick and I heat my 40 x 50 shop with 14 ft ceilings I use about a cord a month and when I use the waste oil about 1-1/2 - 2 gallons in about 8 hours…at 20 degrees outside I can keep it above 60 inside.
