Hey Bruce, your Bruce Anila Retort is fantastic.
It is like an Iwasaki Kiln, but more efficient and easier to load and unload.
I’d love to try building something like it but the cost of stainless steel flue liner makes me sad.
Have you built a succesful retort of this type with any other kind of flue?

Stainless steel flue is free for me. Stove shops and chimney sweeps use SS flex pipe for relining chimneys. There are short pieces left over that are thrown away as scrap. I have picked some up at stove shops and at the local dump. This obtanium is great for our charcoal making projects.
