Coffee car sets Guinness world record

Ah, I think I’m seeing greener grass on the other side if you catch my drift. Your experiencing NIMBY’s (Not In My Back Yards!). These people seem to rear their head mainly when wind turbines get erected. I like the idea of a trailer mounted assembly. Minimal conversion to the vehicle. With petrol, crew cab pickups being as rare as hens teeth a towable system could be in order. It means I can still have a useable family car with a boot (trunk).

Here in Australia you are required to pay road tax on biodiesel but not on straight vegtable oil.

Neil…Is it Gareth Woolley you’re looking for?

He’s got a Forward Control, you’ve got a Series 2, I’ve got an ex-Military Series 3. Do I sense a common thread here?

What you can extrapolate from the data is;

We all had Meccano as lads,

We all like our engines to be big, made of pig iron and underpowered,

We all have black under our fingernails, and lastly,

Our other halves just don’t understand!

However yourself and Wolley have one up on me, mine is pending a new chassis, bulkhead, springs, bushes and a wiring loom. It needed doing 8 years ago but I bought a house, then had a baby, and now can’t seem to find cash or time to start.

(P.S. I’m in the ex-military club too! Still got the army style ID plate riveted just below the seat box and a pukka amount of holes in the front wing where some monster arial once sat)
