Gemline thermocouple

My cousin James was at a yard sale and picked this up for me.

No idea what it’s worth or how well it works… heck, I didn’t even realize the leads that were with it was the thermocouple… temperature rises when I hit it the end of it with a torch.

now i just have to find a use for it.

Commonly called a pyrometer. Many are type K thermocouple. If you disconnect the TC it should go to “0” may need to adjust the “0” a little. It is actually a VERY sensitive DC voltmeter, full scale = 25-28 millivolts. Stick it anywhere you want to check temps. Used like this $10-15
