Continuing the discussion from Life goes on - Summer 2025:
Did you REALLY HAVE to switch it to WINTER already? Please tell me you are jumping the gun by a few months.
Well it for-sure it ain’t Summer no-more. Snows acumulating up high now. Growths stopped, except for some drought-break grasses out of dormancy now re-greening for a short few weeks before going into winter dormancy.
Most everything here frosts stopped killed now.

Several of the internet long range forecasts have us for 15 feet of snow this winter. That would be a couple of feet less than we had last winter but not enough to get the tears off my cheeks. I’m all elbows and A-holes with the chainsaw right now. Last year ate a ways into my reserves. I hope it holds off long enough for me to get stocked with firewood without too much weather struggle. If I could afford a snowmobile I could just cut all winter.
Blessings and congratulations! That’s a lucky guy.
edit: If I believed in luck
