It’s a live chat! This has been requested several times.
You can type something short and off-the-cuff. Good for live conversation, or just to post a quick howdy-do to the forum, see who’s around etc. This is a work in progress, so we are welcoming feedback (I’m not the one who built it, but I’ll pass along your thoughts).
Live chat is back online after almost a year… Check it out! Reload the page if you don’t see it yet. If you see a negative number in the notifications window, open it, read to the bottom, then reload the whole page again.
