My grandson’s 2nd grade class had a car race a while back. Everybody got a block of wood and a set of wheels with axle. Mom helped a bit with some cutting. The design was his. He came in 4th in the race, but no. 1 in Show.
Wish I could have been there to see the spinner wheels and hear the urging ons!

I’ve built 5 or 6 of those cars. For my father in law who was a cub scout pack leader, myself, and helped my daughter with one for the local kids club… lots of fun in the racing… I’ll post a pic of a couple once I figure out how from my phone
