I certainly hope not, Tom. I lost my paternal grandpa to that and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Maybe it’s just a case of the old Scatterbrain.

I milled some red cedar today. I got an order for some outdoor chairs so we will see how that goes after this stuff dries out for a few weeks.

I found out cedar oil, actually can kill (i thought it only repelled) mosquitoes, ticks and other critters the other day. If you are already knocking down cedars, you might look to see how it is made.

There are still some split rail fences up in Vermont that are made of red cedar. That stuff doesn’t rot. Do you have to do something special with the sawdust to get rid of it?
