Video clips from youtube

I THINK that is a -really- old video that got posted. I think one of his first. He was working with those carts a long time ago, and he had a solar one too. I think they were like for irrigation to pump water into rice paddys.

Hi Steve. U.
Yes, that’s the younger me…
First test runs on that setup, with old batteries. Modified alternator to charge higher voltage ( exciting voltage adjustment )
Later added pump, exchangeble with charger, added solar panels, inverter and new batteries.
Would love to be as young and dirty again

Good Morning All
A question comes up again, and again here on the DOW.
“Why can’t you just store made-wood gas in a tank for later engine usage?”
Our friend CNCMachiningisfun (Steven Tetlow) answers that in a video:

Listen carefully.
He now shows 2000+ hours on his own designed evolved woodgasifier.
Watch, listen and hopefully learn a bit. I always do.

Here is an old topic worth resurrecting.
I occasionally scan YouTube for “Engines running on woodgas” just to plumb out the depth of knowledges and activities interests.
It is getting pretty deep going back on YouTube to ~18 years now.
And occasionally an unseen to me gem pops up:

Sure, sure. Many will say rightly that this system is actually a smoke-gas tarring system.
True.
But not my point.
He did build and operate something.
He can then learn much from use failures. Read and improve.
He’s had 9-10years now.
Where is he?
What is he doing?
Regards
Steve Unruh
