Friday afternoon after work, I made my usual trip to the salvage yard before the 15 minute window of the closing time. I spotted three water heaters on the ground, two larger and one smaller. Didn’t have my drill or trailer with me, so I came back this past Saturday morning 15 minutes before they opened with my ability to haul one home. Mr. Magnetic crane was busy already and threw the larger water heaters up on a pile. Small one was left. Some fast walking on my part, grabbed, dragged off that distressed orphan and it’s right sized. I feel like the WK system is made up of little trophies’!
But I did just order from a CNC water jet cut shop for the 15 inch SS disk and two 1 by 15 SS strips for $25. Not too bad.
