Woodgas videos from around the world

Hi All
I was searching for the upper Michigan fellow who made up a BIG DYI woodgas system fueling a GM V-8 he showed electrical generating; loaded testing with electric oven coils to 20kW? 30kW?
This was back at least 13-15 years ago now. Tricky brain will not bring forth his name.
He had YouTube videos. He was a wind sailer boat guy on one of the Great Lakes.
Help.

I did surface this video though:

One I’d never seen. So a good day to find new.

I looked but nada. You are way better at such things than I am anyway but that video did get put up on my youtube suggestions not long ago. I had already seen it several times so didn’t pay much attention.

Yeah I am still looking at now old ones checking the comments sections:

Remember this one?
I’d thought the gauges were frequency; voltage and amperage. Nope temperatures being monitored at three different points.

Then this one defiantly being electrically loaded:

Maybe I’ll find the guy in the 500+ commnets.

Faulty memory. It was the second video you posted that came on my YT suggestions. But I’m pretty sure that the one with the stove elements was on the site somewhere.

Here is JanA’s newest woodgas working video.

These are what it is all about.
Putting wood for your power to work. Even with as Jan has modestly said; still without a perfect understanding. Without a “perfect” system.
Hat off to JanA.

When the engine quits at 2.09, what do we still running- a fan or blower or something?

He has a closed cab piece of equipment DonM.
Look starting at 3:12 and he shows wide locked open door. I see no snow, frost or even breathing condensate on the cabs glass.
For sure he is running a cab heater that would have a blower fan. His engine is water warming for a heater core.
Or maybe on his out in the open; in the trees, no people around woodgas system, he is blowing it some to keep it stoked hot enough. I think not though.

I have an electric cooling fan for the radiator on the engine, that’s the one that makes the noise.
When I made the grip (the one I use to lift the logs) I didn’t get the angles right.
So the engine can’t drive the hydraulic pump when I get pressure on the tip.
It’s the same on gasoline though.

Great job Jan, my hat , gloves , and coat off to you. I got over heated watching you work.
