don’t wait to have a porch.
Strongly agreed on the must-have-a-porch.
Summer sun-past shade sitting. Day’s work discussing.
Winter snow watching snuggled up under lap robes with hot chocolate.
Then later with just out the door toddling: “you” feet rubbing sore pregnant wifie’s feet.
Rainy days toss the kids out to play, and rough-cuss.
And then; much much later wheel-chaired out for contemplative sitting, napping, remembering.
Gotsta’ have a BIG wrap around porch for those year-around, stay-home, get-a-ways.

We have given several porch swings to newly weds as gifts. Mainly because ours played such a big role in our own marriage (19 years tomorrow). Having a swing to sit in for an hour every evening no matter how you feel about each other at the time makes a real good way to get through things.
Happy anniversary to You both and may God Bless you two for many more years to come.
In Jesus Name.
