Air Carbon Fuel Cell

Installed the refractory and ceramic insulation. This is below the gas manafold as seen in photos above. I should order some of those insulation bricks. They would be better to work with and provide insulation. Happy to use up the ceramic blanket stuff. Just do not like the dust from it.

Haha I can’t even find anyone who is a fan of the seven letter oil spreader anymore! Very few left in my area most have gone to die in metal recyclers yards. It’s a shame, they make the sweetest music to the ears

Still run them. Anything else isn’t a real diesel. They also smell good, like a train or jet engine. Had one in my IHC pickup for years.

We still have one in the family, 1956 Allis Chalmers hd5 track loader with a 271. So loyal, hit the key and she fires right up

We have a 225 TJ, can’t remember what motor is in it some massive 6 cylinder

It could be a Deutz. That was kinda popular engine, back in the day.

The producer is now attached to the machine. With a little help from an old office chair bracket, angle iron from old lawn furnature and some electric fence wire.

I have move this thread back to the top, for some of our new members that are here on DOW now.
Check out what Jeff Davis built. He calls it the “Air Carbon Fuel Cell” gasifier.
He has been a great doer and His building shows it.
