Hey, I’m posting this for my grandfather because he’s not good with technology, so if you have any questions about it I’ll try and get back to you as soon as possible! Anyways the truck is being sold as is! The truck shouldn’t need anything to pass saftey or etest! The truck has the brake indicator light on the dash, but in saying that the brakes work well. (Maybe a sensor?) underbody is in great shape for the year. It also has a brand new fifth wheel on the back! $9,999 obo any reasonable offer won’t be refused. Email is preferred but text or phone is alright aswell.

This is a nice truck that recieved some bad mechanical damage by some one that should not of been doing any work on it. I can’t get a good answer as to went wrong but I think that the front drive shaft was installed wrong and blue out and as a result broke the transfer case off of the trans. The body is in great shape, I can’t find any rust or body damage, other then the bumpers, and that is minimal. It is my brothers truck and I am selling it for him. I need a few days to set up a time to see it as it is on my other brother’s place. The motor is worth $1500 and the rest is a great deal. I am not willing to part the thing out and I am not willing to tell you where it is with out letting my brother know when we will be there to look at it. It has a clean and clear Oregon title so don’t pay no attention to the plates in the pics. I am told that the motor is great and does not smoke and that the power of the V10 is what broke stuff. I don’t know how many miles it has but the title is just over a 100 K and I don’t think that it has run much after that. If you have any question I will be glad to respond asap, The truck has been setting for about two years so don’t bother me with cheep and unreasonable offers, I can wait.Engine Type 488 cid 90’ V-10 OHV

No bad considering it comes wrapped up with an original factory Imbert chunked wood gasifier system.
Imagine the loving care that ti took to either store and maintain this old one (or restore it/ from the time ravages of 75 equivalent Minnesota/North Wisconsin winters?
Just for this, that would less $175. USD a year. You you cannot rent enclosed vehicle storage annually for that.
Doctor Tom Reed put up a picture set once of an old retired American/Norwegian fellow came visiting who had driven one of these as a delivery truck back in Norway in his youth. He searched out here in the US an old GMC truck. Restored it. Built up from operators memory a duplicate gasifier system and took to driving it around showing it.
He did not want the experiences and capabilities to get lost.
History says often that if we forget her we get to repeat the same lessons over, and over, and over again. Blown hot woodchar in direct continuous contact against metal will destroy that metal in hundreds of hours. Use self renewing ash sloping protection and radiant heat energy sacrificial shields.
Nice picture set MagneK
Thanks for surfacing this.
