If it gets low on gas it will run rough on occasion but shut it off and start it back up and it’s fine. Again, this only happens when it’s low on fuel.
The wrecker unit is a slide in home built. It needs a new winch. I have a new 8000 pound winch I will toss in for another 250 if you want it.

Partially (mostly) completed project free to the right party. Wayne sold me the Termite, his third wood truck, which my son and I drove from Alabama to Maine. Google “Reiche Termite”. Thereafter, we started construction on another one, on a GMC 3/4 ton, using stainless for all the new equipment. The project is largely done on the system side, and there is plenty of tinkering to be done on the electrics, etc…and then endless tweaking after it becomes operational…but that goes with the territory. When the project got to the present stage, my son went back to school…and then I sold my company and retired…and this project is not going to be completed by us. This is a 6 seater ute with an 8ft tray. Had a respray early 2012 to all white. Aftermarket stereo throughout. Engine is the 8L V10 and hasn’t missed a beat since I have owned it in 2007. 90% tread on all tyres. Aftermarket headlights. Reverse Camera (screen mounted in sunvisor, see pic). Aftermarket alarm system with remote start (aircon starts when remote started). All shocks replaced in the last two years as well as upper and lower arm bushings. Front disk rotors and pads and rear drums and pads replaced 5000km ago. Comes with hard top. Spot lights mounted in behind grill.
2001 Dodge Ram Laramie Slt V10. Absolutely pristeen condition. Body 10/10; interior 10/10; 2nd owner. Unbelievably low mileage at 55,00 miles. Full tow pkg. inc. trailer brakes, box wired in, rear wired in, wired in front bush bar for night lights, and 1" leaf spring lift and stiffener. Super thick high quality Arma box liner, insulated Leer canopy. Lots of rubber on the Michelins (approx. 80%), extra wide wheel well mounts, and lots of other upgrades. Just put new brakes on. Pulling power rivals diesel; motor and transmission are exceptionally strong; have taken real good care of all aspects of vehicle (transmission fluids, differential fluid, engine fluids). Don’t really want to sell as this truck is still in mint condition and you won’t find another one at this year, mileage, and condition. Best one on Craigslist by a century. I have up for trade a 96 Dodge 2500 V10. Truck is in excellent conditon for its age!!! Guy that owned it before me had it garage kept and it saw very little winter days. ABSOLUTELY NO RUST ON THIS TRUCK! Truck has 157,000 miles. Interior is absolutely immaculate for a 96! Gettin a new radiator, temperature housing gauge and dual exhaust system. Front tires are almost brand new and rear ones will probably need replaced before winter hits. I have already went and spray painted the whole under carriage, fender wells, front bumper, and 5th wheel plates rustoleum black. I installed tow mirrors on this truck. Truck also comes with like I said the 5th wheel plates with a camper plug in adapter. Truck does have some paint chips and a few scuffs here and there but I have buffed all the bad ones out. Once the truck is washed and shined up its a definite head turner! Looking to trade it for a Cummins, Duramax, or Powerstroke. Don’t wanna trade it but I REALLY want a diesel truck!
