1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Black Quad Cab Sport Lifted w/37’s & 8’ Meyer Plow - $6400 (Stanhope, New Jersey)
I am selling my 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab Sport Short Bed. It has an 8.0 liter V10 with Automatic Transmission with Dana 60 axles front and rear. The truck has 85,600 miles on it and is very reliable. The truck has every available option including power leather seats, power windows and locks, rear sliding window, Factory installed Walnut trim, 4:10 gears w/front and rear limited slip posi’s. It comes with an 8’ Meyers power angle plow w/ an E47 pump. The truck has a 4.5" lift with 37" Pro Comp Extreme Mud Terrain Tires on aluminum Dick Cepek 17" wheels. The truck just passed NJ State inspection. I just put over $1400 into the front axle including all new axle u-joints, unit bearing assemblies, rotors, calipers, pads, wheel studs, lugs and ball joints. I also just installed a cable operated front axle 4wd actuator in place of the failure prone vacuum units. I drove this truck back and forth to work everyday, 52 miles each way(104 miles a day), I averaged 12 to 14 mpg. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. The interior is a 8.5 to 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. The exterior is showing some rust and rot on the bottoms of 3 of the doors and surface rust throughout the undercarriage. The bed has had a liner in it since it was brand new. I’ve known this truck since it was purchased brand new in June of 1998. I am selling this to concentrate on one of my too many projects, I need to get rid of a few so as to hopefully finish one.
