Don, you really got a good deal.! I bought a roll of that stuff in the one inch thickness and it is holding up well insulating the chimney riser on my TLUD charcoal making stoves. I wrap mine in kitchen style Aluminum Foil, and then use baling wire to hold everything together. Screen or mesh would also work, but baling wire was handy. The shiny aluminum foil makes it look very “scientific”. It does soak up water if I leave it out in the rain, so I try to keep it covered when not in use.

Hi guys, by definition, internacionaly a meter is:…“equivalent of the lenght of the trayectory of the light in vacum during 1/299792458 of a second” . And another, no so exact, from wich it derivates, is that a meter is one tenthmillionth part of an earth meridian. The thing is that is is suposed to be more simple to convert, ad, substract, mutiply or divide because it is in the decimal sistem. Thats for cientific purpuses, for us is more simple: its a ruler.
