Wayne let Liza know that she is a beautiful rare Jem of a woman. Ofcourse you know that.
Bob
Hey Wayne, do you have special trick up your sleave to make her feel itâs a privilege? Iâve been renovating and painting old window frames lately, but wife vanished. No sign of her until all the tools are stored away for the day.
Im lucky my wife likes to paint, she actually doesnât allow me to paint any stuff, that isânt âmy stuffâ.
Im more restricted to use a paintbrush, since i accidentally painted the dogs nose, some years ago, (i painted the siding on our front porch and dog was curious on the inside, i also enjoyed beer a little to much at that time)
You guys in Europe probably donât know that Wayne learned these tricks from Mark Twain when he wrote The adventures of Tom Sawyer.
LMAO Tom, Iâve been thinking it but didnât wanna type it out.
I donât know if Wayne can trick his wife to whitewash the fences.
I remember reading Tom Sawyer but lucky for me the wife never did .
93*f out here and wicked high humidity and Iâm out shooting flatbed videos I think I need some water. I blame all you builders making progress, I couldnât stare at the flatbed another day and not touch it with you guys making leaps and bounds in your builds!
I did not weld a stich today Marcus just to hot, 108 °f in the shade no breeze at all, dry as a bone weather. I did harvest some honey. Just one big layens frame. Over 6 cups of honey off that frame so far. May another cup out the comb by tomorrow. The old fashion way gravity dripping.

That made me think of when our kids rescued a baby jackdaw that was about to be killed by a cat out in the field.
We named it Jerry and fed it cat food and in a couple weeks it was ready to excersize its first take-offs from the porch stairs. It followed us walking the dogs, flew from tree to tree and as soon as wife whisteled it returned to ride on her shoulder.
As the weeks past it went for more frequent rides by itself but always returned back home. If we saw a team of jackdaws in the field we could always whistle and it would stear in our direction screaming. However, to be able to tell it from its buddies when on the lawn, I painted yellow horisontal stripes on its legs. Within days we started to hear rumours from around the village how people had visits from a strange bird. It looked like a jackdaw but had to be something else, because it wasnât afraid of people and it had yellow stripes on its legs Time flies. This was 25 years ago
The alarm clock is ringing. Time to wake up.
Thanks JO, better keep it light and have a laugh.
Not so light Tom. I am getting nervous too. But what can you do? Trying to control your own world, that is all. Farmers? I have the feeling they have drifted a long way from nature. Poison and fertilisers are the only things they know nowadays. Both a death end road. Controlled by the big companies.
If France is taking back control over the energy sector, they are doing a great job. If that is communistic, please give us some. I dont understand why free market principles are more important than having control about your own powerplant. Every plant here is sold to some foreignerâčïž How is that possible?
My thoughts, enjoy the possibilities of modern technics but dont forget where everything is coming from. If I am working in my shop it still impressed me what is possible nowadays. 3d design CAD CAM, paperless production and precise products. Wow. But at the end of the day you have to fill your stomache with real food. Grown in black earth, not some rockwool or genetic fix. We had the best soil here in the low lands. It is all gone now. Gone for productivity maximum. More more more. And now it is gone. I stopped talking when I saw the movie Lorax. For children, but I decided enough is enough. At some point you have to be satified and take a good look what is important.

Sunny and hot here today, experimenting some with drying charcoal.
I have around 1cubic meter of charcoal in sacks, and the birds have made holes to look whats inside, this was so wet water was standing in the bottom of the sack.
How do you store your potatoes, when you pick them up so early?
Will it make it to spring without softening or growing out?
Goran, drying motor fuel for a motorcycle? In the background you have a wooden cart, it probably has an antique engine for driving farm equipment, am I wrong?
Hi Tone, yes drying fuel for the moped, going to give that project a little time now
The wooden cart should have been my little secret, should have been my first youtube video
But, hereâs a teaser: my charcoal crusher and sifter, first test just today
Charcoal for forging/blacksmithing, engine fuel, and barbecue fuel.
We let them dry on surface which usually makes rest of soil to drop off. Then put them into boxes from wooden planks which allow them breathing. Boxes go to the cellar some 10 feet under ground. They rest on a frame some 5 inches above cellar floor which protect them from funghis in the soil on floor and humidity comming from the floor.
The cellar is quite cold during whole year but not frozen in the winter. It is also quite humid but not wet. It prevents potatoes to dry and soften.
Definitely they start to germinate around February/March. Depends on the temperature. By this time our stockpile is low enough that itâs worthwhile to clean sprouts out while they are still small. It prolongs usabilty till the end of April or longer if cellar is still cold enough.
Hi Joep. Yes, farmers for the most part have been led down a bad path and for the most part have forgotten they have a responsibility to the land, and right now very little will grow without constant applications of high salt chemical fertilizers. In itself this will lead to reduced food supplies and problems feeding the populous. However no government on Earth is ever going to correct those wrongs. Itâs just not part of their agenda and do not fall for the illusion that there is a Dutch, a French, A German, Canadian or U.S. government. Thatâs just smoke and mirrors. In the U.S. there is a group of about three corporations that own controlling interests in nearly all the Fortune 500 companies. All Central Banks are connected through LIBOR however that is being phased out for the Great reset when they hope to establish a one world currency.
Many people are waiting for a Savior that will come and right the wrongs of the world. In my mind that is the same as waiting for a welfare check. A savior is not a warrior. It is a beacon in a dark night. Those able to see that light will be drawn to it and those who cannot or will not will remain in darkness. The world is in a state of collapse. Those in power are desperate to maintain that power and they do that through divide and conquer. Wars and rumours of wars. All the implications of the Kissenger quote. This obsession by a small group of people to maintain control over a vast number of people is logistically impossible. Read the U.N. agenda 30. The first necessity is to reduce the population of the Earth supposedly to make it more sustainable, but thatâs BS. Itâs to make it more controllable. The Dutch farmers making a stand for themselves is a worst case scenario for the Agenda 30 globalists. The more people that stand up and oppose these land grabs and totalitarian mandates, the weaker the existing power structure becomes. What is the average Joe to do? Passive resistance. You cannot do battle with them but you can put yourself in a position of at least some independence from their controls. Each person on what we would call the path of righteousness must assume responsibility for their own existence. Learn to provide for at least some of your own food, and energy. This forum is a school for a form on energy independence. In even a relatively small, climate controlled structure a lot of food can be grown. This has been proven time and time again by people I know personally and on the web. Everyone must always be aware that if they control your water supply you have no hope. There is no longer any denying that we are in the biblical end times. Read the writing on the wall.
Thanks Kamil.
Then you do the same as me, I was a little worried that it was too early to put the potatoes in here,
I was going to remove the leaves as soon as I see any signs of leaf mold, we usually get this.
I donât know what varieties of potato you guys have. My best keeper is Yukon Gold. I plant quite a few in 5 gallon buckets and that lets them produce quite a few but small potatoes. I set these aside for next years seed. I had some this spring that were still solid and entirely edible if I chose to eat them.
