I will have too try your tecknic nex time i pick up one of them type blades, The blades i been having trouble with is some thin wall 14" cut offs i got at an auction- the problem is that they are not built for high speed 15 amp angle grinders, and when they catch an edge wrong they tend too garnade out off the arbor-Luckily i had the wheel pointed down- but then it hit me in the right shin obove the anckle , and its itching right so i gess its healing, took about a week for the swelling too go downâthrough thanks for recomending MANUKA honey-that really helps wounds heal. Some of them cut off wheels are higher rpm than the standard 3900- butt even the faster rated cutoff cut off wheels, not quite rated as fast as full speed grinder motors turn- so i am using my slower speed grinders most the time, when i dont want to plazma cut off steel.
Used vehicles prices have gone through the roof , i lucky i found my dakota for 450.00 running good just before the coved lock down inflation raises- caused the inflation to skyrocket again to car -truck prices.
Yep prices are crazy right now even for a mechanic special that needs massive amounts of work to be drivable. I do miss the days of a 300 Honda civic that needed a clutch or head gasket and sold the next week fixed for 1500$. now that same Honda blown up is 1500$ and the parts have tripled in price
No doubt the still rippling COVID lock-down effects are the most of it.
But two-three-four other factors also.
The gawd-awful prices for new vehicles. Some who would have just bought new previously now buying used too.
The fact that no manufacture will make or import into the USA anymore a simple basic pickup truck. Africa, South America, most of Asia can get new production basic Toyota HiLux pickups. Not us. Too many regulations hurtles to have to jump now.
And a fourth reason . . . most vehicles beginning in ~2007-09, and certainly later; are built to demand connectivity. Once allowed to connect, they track you. Enough folks are finally realizing this than even more buying pressure being put onto the older ones.
They only ever made so many in any one years. Less of any years model year, after year.
Diminishing supply. Increased demands on that fewer and fewer.
S.U.
Speaking of connectivity, this morning on the way to work radio was taking about MN govener is pushing for 20% of all vehicles be EV by 2032âŠor something like that. Dont quote me on that. But it was some rediculas unachievable number of 1 million or more EVs replacing dino vehicles.
But what i found interesting is the talk of how they intend on recuperating there lost gas tax moneies⊠and bills already in the works of all EVs logging miles and uploading the data so you can pay a tax/fee for per/miles driven.
Yeah, theyâve been talking about that mileage tax for years.
People that drive on alternative fuels like registered homemade fuel ethanol technically already have to do that, they just trust you to report your mileage.
I think the only thing politicians do is sit around devising problems so they can tax us more. But that is in their nature as their profession indicates, poli from the latin poly meaning many, and tics meaning blood sucking insects.
Thanks for that! I havenât laughed that hard in awhile.
I like your forge Kristijan, seems like we think alike when it comes to the âsmoke-hoodâ
Mine isânt used in a while though.
Here is a guy with real talent!
Copied from a friend:
Donât eat anything with the âApeelâ sticker on it. It just appeared in our grocery stores. I saw it for the first time today. The cucumbers are not wraped in plastic but thereâs a big sign saying it is coated in Apeel to protect freshness and reduce plastic waste. The cucumbers also have a sticker on them with the word Apeel. I checked the company out, itâs funded by Bill Gates and others and the WEF endorses it. And I checked their website out and you canât find any info about what Apeel is. Look at the frequently asked questions. They even tell you not to buy it if youâre worried.
In Canada so far itâs just on cucumbers and maybe apples. In the US itâs on avocados and apples and possibly limes, lemons, and cucumbers. The company is very mysterious about what the product actually is. And it canât be washed off no matter how much scrubbing. It even says this on the website in the FAQ. Supposedly it can make produce last up to 3 times longer. Suddenly the price of cucumbers dropped today to just over $3 for 3 cucumbers in a pack or $1.27. They really want people to buy these cucumbers."
Safety data sheet says : APEEL Hazard statements H318 Causes serious eye damage. H317 May cause an allergic skin reaction. H412 Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Almost forgot to grab my dang mig welder from Dadâs place! Heâs having to move locations, friend sold the shop property. Luckily he also lined dad up for another location and dad lives in a camper so itâs not that big of a deal.
Exactly why itâs imperative to do as much of your own growing as possible. They are injecting your meat supply with MRNA vaccines . Soon it will be your dairy as well if they are not already doing it. It ainât easy getting rid of 90 per cent of the worlds population.
According to their website it is mainly mono and di glycerides from plants. mono and di glycerides are common food additives that help water and oils mix.
I personally am not excited about it, but it isnât like fruits havenât been polished, colored and waxed for the last 50 years to make them more appealing to consumers.
but overall, the coating extends shelf life for retailers by keeping in moisture and preventing oxygen from getting in. It isnât going to go away. The main drawback is that it looks like it is going to be used to bring more fruits and vegetables from 3rd world markets because they donât have the refrigerated supply chains.
hello chris, thanks for the informationâŠâtheyâ will now hide the poisons in the food, because the vaccine has always less acceptance, because people recognize the dangerâŠnow the new strategy is foodâŠroundup and al the chemical threatments over the last decades were not so effective as âtheyâ thought, now they are in hurry before people wake upâŠ
