Cuting one down today.
I have a sad news to report my self regarding tree related stuff. There is a powerline on my property, and the other day the power company came and clear the "under"growth. I wasnt at home. These selfish lazy tree murderers just fell and fell any tree and bush they felt like felling. Includeing a old apple tree, that was of perfectly legal size compared to their policy. Not many apple trees left on the property and new ones wount fruit for 5-10 years (l plant old fassioned worietys that allso grow/fruit slower) so thats a big loss.

Truck cover up.
This is always a sad sight to see , winter is moving in. The road is all up hill from my place and I donāt have 4Ć4, just one back tire trying to find grip at a time. I wish it had posivtive track. If it does have limited slip it doesnāt seem to be working very well. It was slippery wet snow this morning and it looks like more is on the way. If it does get nice out again the tarp comes off in minutes and everything in the bed is dry. I praying for more dry no snow weather.

We have these on everything that goes out on the roads, in the winter.

Hereās an option. If you donāt mind laying under your truck. You can put a spool in the differential. It will lock the axles the same as welding the spider gears. Not something you want to do if you are doing a lot of city driving but not as bad as some people will claim either. Much cheaper than a locker and fairly easy to install. One wheel drive sucks.
Had a jeep with a broken front axle joints and the rear had square gears installed that permanently locked differential

I saw this bright light in the northern sky over Lake Michigan last night and thought it must be northern lights but then I realized it must be the eighty some candles on Tom Collins birthday cake! Happy birthday yesterday Tom.

Thank you ALL for the birthday wishes. Never thought I would see such a large number on my birthday cake. This group has a lot to do with me reaching that number. My father-in-law will turn 97 in a month, he also drives a tractor, works in the fields, feeds chickens, rabbits, pigs and is in good health, I also wish you strength and health, Tom.
