There was one school in michigan closed from it, and they are saying a lot of people around here have it.
It very well could be a swing and a miss from the flu vaccine, or the vaccine could have prevented one strain, and this is just the second one that popped up. It is hard to tell as they are guessing 3-6 months in advance of what the dominent strain will be.
Wife and l went for a litle trip today, on our way back we stopped at the Sevnica castle. Thod l snap a few pictures, mostly to show where the new old new first lady of USA grew up. Nice litle town by the river Sava.
The chunker was a little hard to get running, the belts was stiff, and the switch gave me trouble, one of the three contact points had a drop of ice on it, which lead to it tried to start on two phases (humming) and blown fuses. Found the drop, used a screwdriver to pry it of- arcs and sparks… and blown fuses…forgot to pull the plug first only one spare 16a fuse left… well it runs
Thats the exact same plasma cutter I bought Jan, the one without compressor and I am happy with it.
Bought a 50-piece consumables set online too, about $30.
By the way Jan. If you are going to cut thicker materials with it, I use an adapter from three phase to one phase, it requires 16A to not blow a fuse when turned up high.
I thought it was well worth the money. Didn’t want to buy less since it is not a name brand, no idea if I can get the stuff in a year or two and not more as I am not sure about the life expectancy of the machine but it does seem very good for the pricetag.
Look what I got for my birthday present–a rare “significant” snowfall for north central North Carolina–about 5-6 inches. No work in the shop today. Looking at snow flakes through a magnifying glass. Also, eating snow cream. Tried to arrange a ride in a one-horse open sleigh, but that didn’t work out.
