Hey @Ron_L do you still run your woodgas through the carb?
How often do/did you clean it mileage-wise? Was it just a brushing down with some carb cleaner or did you rebuild it every now and then?

Hi Cody, over the years I have done both , most often just brushing and spraying with cleaner after several hundreds of miles the throttle and choke would stick and it would need work…
Trying different setups I have changed the carb four times trying over carb, then under, then supercharging and finally back to over.
Another odd question, but which carburetor did you have the best results with when going over it? The Holley 4bbl?
I think with my Rochester it would soot up pretty quick with those tiny primaries. I tried doing the MEN conversion to a spare but I likely goobered that one up, I wasn’t enthused by using such a small gas inlet pipe to begin with.
