What type of solar energy battery system that is easy to store and is always ready to use. Has long storage life. Can be made with out poluting the earth when making it. Carbon neutral, and its by products are organic, weed killer, wood post preserving?
Good old God made wood products. Totalabibily a complete clean renewable source of energy. Man of this age, but I don’t want to get my hands dirty, I just got a manicure and dirt under my finder nails will look so unsightly in my CEO three piece suit and tie. CEO MAN, It sucks to be you then. Lol
DOW, GENERATE ON WOOD. With good exercise and a little sweat off the forehead. Always ready when you need it. When the time comes it is not as easy as turning on a electrical switch and buying power or buying fuel to go down the road.

My dad said this and I believe it. When it comes to man coming up with his figures to show his point of view his figures don’t lie. But in this world of evil men, liers sure can figure good or bad. I simply do not trust all the figures that they present. What I do know is I have less monies in my pocket and savings then I did 10 years ago and I have tightened my belt on spending. That is good enough proof for me. No figures, spread sheets needed just a total amount. Everyone in the middle class can see this.

Well, I’m 40’s born and what I remember is people didn’t need two salaries to live even if your old man worked a factory job and car loans were for two years and if you kept your car much longer than that people would be talking about you behind your back. Car styles changed dramatically every year and people in professional sports had to have off season jobs.
Tom, I’m 60s born and can say the same. Coming home from school, me and all of my friends were met by our mothers. Nowdays I don’t know a single couple with only one salary.
I think it had to do with all the gizmos we didn’t know we needed back then.
In the Netherlands that changed rapidly in the 90’s when the bank counts two salaries for max morgages, before only one. That did explode the house prices and mom and dad had to go out working both.
This morning I drove the V-10 several miles at hyway speeds .
This afternoon I drove a few miles in granny gear .
Out running around in the work truck this morning .
To be clear, I am not claiming I have as much power as gasoline . My claim is that I am accelerating and driving the same speeds as I would be if driving on 100% gasoline . If anyone was riding with me they wouldn’t know if I was running 1/4 throttle or 1/2 throttle .

Also some days it runs worse then others and I can’t put my finger on it. Is it the operator? The wood? The moisture? Who knows, but “a day fishin is better then a day working.” I mean “any day driving on wood is better then a day driving on gasoline”
Yesterday we were DOWing almost 100 miles in rain. Felt low on power and the railtemp climbed higher than I like. I responded by driving gently.
Close to home I emptied almost twice the amount of hopper juice (1.5 gallon) and 10 times the rear tank condensate I expected (1/2 gallon instead of 1/2 cup). The 3:1 vacuum ratio I saw was lower than normal. The Volvo system likes hovering around 4:1-5:1.
Was it all just moisture related? Don’t know. Operator? No way
Yeah, speaking of condensate, what is the usual ratio between the amount of wood vinegar you get from a gasifier and the water that is excreted in the refrigerator?
Tone, I can only speak for my builds, but it differs greatly depending on driving conditions. A lot of short trips within the same hopper load produce more hopper juice because the wood has more time to steam off its moisture before it’s consumed. The amount of rear tank condensation seems to increase if I drive carefully and keep the cooler rails really cool. Air temp, air humidity and moisure content of the wood are other factors.
I consider anything between 3:1 to 10:1, hopper to rear tank, to be a normal ratio.
You must be driving that valvo on raw dried wood, I was thinking it was a charco gasifier when i seen it in the parking lot photo. How many miles on wood can you get with your valvo gasifier, before refueling, THANKS.
Looks like hard hot work for an old timer, How long it take too roll up 100 bales, keeps a person in better shape, steady working though i reckon.
Hell Kevin .
Just set the last roll in the barn 10 min ago.
Still have equipment in the field to bring home.
In good hay I can make a roll in 5-10 min. ( 600 - 800 pounds )
Most years it takes me six weeks to get a cutting and cut twice a year . This year we had very good weather for hay . The temps have been near 100 or above and no rain until last night . This spring I got it done in 18 days ( quickest ever ) with help from wife and son.
Hello Kevin. 50 miles normal speeds is about the limit if I stuff the hopper really full. It holds about 30 - 40 pounds depending on wood type.
Making hay while the sun shines, i heard that frase before, Bet your glad that job is done while the sun shines.Or before the hay gets soaked from rain.
HI Jan, thats good miles per hopper, good little parts / food runner car.
Amazing how a paint job changes the whole attitude of a truck, but I will miss ol red now where did you have time to knock that out amidst hay season??
