Hi. I am a farmer raising almonds in California. I have wanted to run my irrigation pump engine with wood from my trees since I did a report in High School on wood gas generation some 35 years ago. Then I built a wood gas generator in the early 1990’s from plans I sent for. I made gas with it but never ran an engine with it. Next in the late 1990’s I was experimenting with making wood gas in an oxygen free chamber and ended up making pyrolysis oil as well as wood gas and charcoal (I was trying to make wood gas with a higher BTU). Now I would like to figure out a way to re-gasify pyrolysis oil to run a engine.
