I think it would be fairly simple to run PEX under the floor of a RV; rigid insulation beneath it. A couple of shut off valves that tubing from a small wood fired boiler could be pumped into. I was never a boy scout but I like to be prepared. I’m liking those small stoves Dave posted about as a fuel efficient way to heat the water and not hard to enclose to draw minimal attention. I especially like the no smoke.
I know someone that was working for a carbon fiber supplier, for a canadian company. I don’t know if she is -still- doing that or not, but I think she was selling to automotive and probably aerospace. I can ask if you need a contact.
I would like to know how to do that vacuum forming process. And be careful, with the CF, it does have similar dust to charcoal and fiberglass which is potentially why we don’t see a lot of it.
He might not want to mess with it in a new rv and all. It requires mods that are a lot of work. Not to mention hauling wood is a lot of work, although good exercise, but I think he prefers blondes.
Yup I am schooling myself in the tech right now. Before I get too deep I need to get work caught up with the gasifier company and then I will be free form it. That will happen this spring. Part of the carbon fiber is the guitar development I was also working on. Ill need to dive into a bunch of different things to be sustainable.
The VersiFire is not going away though. Im pretty much done with the gasifier devlopment, I think there is a market need for for the VersiFire I just need to figure out how to make it cheap and adaptable to any DIY gasifier. Might even just sell the code and the DIYers just build it themselfs. Then the CFX and this controller will get outsourced later on. As far as me being a manufacturer Im phasing that out and the weld fab part will get downsized even more just for development purposes.
If I cant use a 3D printer to manufacturer it Im not interested. lol
I understand completely Matt. A thing is only worth doing as long as you are excited by it. Creating a demand and then suffering all the business BS required to create a supply to meet it can suck the enjoyment out of any en devour. It will take some years for us to crawl out from the mess that the current controllers have conjured up in their greed, but it also a fertile ground for innovators to till. Amazing shit is coming. The technology that has been weaponized against us will be freed and pretty much the limits of ones imagination will be the only barrier. Sounds like pie in the sky crappola, I know, but in five years it will be apparent what our trajectory is.
