From what I follow in the news, that isn’t the case. There have been numbers of lettuce contamination cases in recent years traced to ground contamination from nearby cattle operations. Apparently the bacteria can get into the plant tissues. So I wouldn’t risk it. Veggies that are only cooked, like squash could be fine.
Bruce, it is common for me to be pooping and peeing at the same time. Will you Diverter work in this case???
Thanks,
Jeff
Jeff,
Thanks for the question. No problem, there is no need for any special control, movement or aiming. Just go and add a little charcoal. We screen out the fine charcoal dust so there is no black cloud when adding char.
Peace,
Bruce
Kristijan; It is time for a report on how things are going for you and your family. If we don’t hear from you tomorrow, it will be a year before you can contact us. Wishing the best for you’al. TomC
Ha, I was just about to ask if anyone heard from Kristijan. Two full weeks past and I actually started to worry. I hope he’s just been busy and accumulating report material.
Thank you for your concern guys, no need for panic just yet. Tom, true. It is time for a report. But JO is right, everything OK exept l have been buissy. Urgent things push their way in our lifes, but we have it all more or less under control. As long as kids (and we) are healthy, we manage it all.
I havent been posting much, l can only read on my tab (cracked screen) and at the time l reach wifes phone l usualy fall asleep but l did enjoy the discussions lately, specialy JOs Christmas song. Mike’s salmon allso seem nice, but from a different perspective thain his
2 days back l hurt a muscle in my arm while chiseling my way trugh a rock on our new waterline, so l have some time to catch up on the site.
We had quite a lot done on the property. Ofcorse we usualy forget to take pictures but here are just a few.
Wow, you two are busy, hand digging the well, spring, cistern. I hope you find a big chunk of gold while digging.
Bob

In the meanwhile, enjoy a video wife secretly made
Looks more dangerous thain it realy was.
Why???
Plus more characters.
!!!
Did you give up on the water ram pump idea that you talked about before once?
Okay, that makes the non DOW video of 2019 vote for this year on this DOW site. At least you knew what side to cut the branch off and you were hanging off a second one.
Bob
Yes. I didn’t know gibbons could operate chainsaws…
I don’t recall seeing that technique in any chainsaw training videos.
Plus, why was that necessary, especially with such a big saw? I would have just dropped the whole thing from the ground.
Yes, that whole maneuver has “hold my beer and watch this!” written all over it. We would all rest easier if you would do it from the ground next time, Tarzan
Also, while I am being the safety police, holes and trenches over 1.2m deep should have shoring unless they are in very firm ground, especially where there is groundwater involved. Also, putting your trench spoil too close to the edge is going to increase the risk of one of those sides caving in. Knowing you, though, you are probably chiseling through solid rock (by hand). I am looking forward to reading this thread for decades to come, so just dont go too wild!
Looks like an adventure, though, so keep up the good work.
I believe we were all holding our breath during that method of tree felling.
I was very impressed with your log walking ability.
Knowing K as I do, I am quite sure beer was involved…Nevertheless, I quite enjoyed it.
Billy
Some explanation is in order i neaded the whole long straight tree for the crane you see on pic one. It was already cut off and hanged it self while falling so l cut the top off in a “Tarzanic” way
Billy, every machine needs some sort of lubricant
Don, the ram pump is still in first plan!
Carl, acyltualy the last feew inches in the trench were nervewrecking. Parts caved in dayly. But its all over now.
Haha, what can I say Tarzan
I didn’t worry too much about the tree climbing though. You will always get down, one way or another. But seeing you head down in the bottom of that trench gave me flashbacks/nightmares. I’m glad it’s over with.
Keep pics and vids coming. Much appreciated.
Edit: I envy the short sleves. Seems Wayne is not the only one having summer weather year around.
I remembered your accident, thod about it a lot while digging.
It seems we have quite the same weather you and me actualy, in the -2ish. The short sleves are more or less just the fruit of the state of mind
