Is that an XJ6 or XJ12? Does it have the original engine or did someone do a V8 swap? The body already looks pretty straight, shouldn’t be too bad of a job!

This is a 1988 xj12 with the original v12 still running strong. Though for some reason the Canadian model of xj12 is called a Vanden Plas. It is the last year they made this body style. They changed to a more square body style in 89 which I don’t think looks as good.
It had some rust typical of this age of vehicle, but overall it is still in really good shape.

We were but it rained which stopped right about dark. supposedly, I have until mid-afternoon before the rain comes back. The smoke to me smells more like burnt plastic then wood. It gives me a headache to be out in it for very long.
if you use your hand as a map of michigan by holding out your hand so your thumb is on the right, with your fingers together. He is up by the tip of your ring finger. Provided you still have all your fingers. 
Throw some charcoal in a mesh bag and put it in your pond, it will get rid of some of that algae. It soaks up the nutrients and it might release a compound that slows the growth. When it decomposes it uses the oxygen in the water and the fish can’t breathe. hot water of course doesnt have as much dissolved oxygen either.

Wow, that is a cool engine. Back in the late '70s I was at a warehouse full of used engines. They were all neatly arranged in racks except for one monster that was on the floor in the middle of the aisle. It was of course a Jag V12. It made the 1.6 liter 4 banger for my Spitfire look like a toy.

Been a while since I posted anything. Just wanted to let you all know im still kicking… im always surprised that people do pay attention. They notice the gassifier in the back and a select few actually know what it is.
A few weeks ago I had someone pull-up next to me at a red light and threw open windows ask “if that was a gassifier”. After giving him confirmation he smiled from ear to ear and gave a thumbs up before the light changed.
On another note. Dad is still tinkering too. Stopped by the other day and couldn’t help but snap a Pic. He opted to pull his gassifier off his carburated ranger and moved on to fuel injection… he has commented how much nicer it is to drive…not so finicky.

I haven’t yet had time to try my hand at building a gasifier.
Something unexpected came up: the renovation of my tractor. I had never done any mechanical work before, so I’m learning as I go, but I’m pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of these old tractors.
If anyone is interested, I could potentially start a thread about it.

Is this a forum where we hunt for free energy? I don’t particularly like this method, I prefer to deal with gasifiers, well, recently Mr. Tom complained that there are few posts, so I wrote this.

So I have so much work that requires a mask anyway, I figure it doesn’t matter too much. The weird part is the PTSD about MOPP from the military that this constant readiness has caused.
Unlike Tone’s location, here I hang the panels vertically, or over vertical. It keeps the snow and ice off.
Here I am doing a tire change on the loader.

It’s not as grunty as changing track pins and bushings. The thing about the tire job is how expensive it is. I got these used tires for $300. The village paid $34000 for the tires that replaced these.

I have all those symptoms and I thought it was from being so damned old. My only MOPP is hooded mesh bug jacket partially successful at fending off biting flies.

If you truly find free energy, you can post it anywhere you wish.
While understandably solar is not your preferred choice, I suspect over the long term, it will be ones of the easier methods.
I dont know anything about your solar system, but that last panel is getting shaded by the chimney and the trees. I dont know how your system is adjusting for that. The very old systems, any shading knocks out all the output from everything. They have done some things to improve it depending on the panel and manufacturer, but you may not be getting output from that panel when it is shaded.

Ah, perfect, a Deye inverter. Did you use a ground wire for the batteries? I assume the same standards as in Belgium don’t apply where you are. Here, you have to use cable that meets Belgian standards—which costs three times as much as German cable, for instance—even though it’s exactly the same thing; it just has a number printed on it… In short, that’s Belgium for you.

Wow Tone! Even batteries!
So far I have no batteries for my solar. Still selling the surplus back to the grid for cheap during daytime. I’m waiting for two things to line up - “vehicle to grid” to come in to play and wife’s car braking down properly. Dual use would make me feel a little better about batteries.
