“If you want to talk about the latest news, that’s fine, but all topics that get into debate territory will be removed.” -forum rules

This was what I was interested in. This is the latest “news”. Funny details of the video, were that they claimed no heat loss, but the video pictured components mounted on giant heat sinks…I guess the debate is how deep the BS is here.

I am going back to listening my politically incorrect Christmas carols…“a pistol that shoots
Is the wish of Barney and Ben” - It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I am not trying to debate, I am trying to figure out what they are actually claiming.

I think I found the main patent.

They are basically using controlled pwm to use pulsed dc to create AC with no moving parts with high efficiency, but they aren’t claiming overunity… I suspect this is a translation error but maybe not with the efficiency claims.

" 2. The non-rotating DC generator according to claim 1,

the solid fuel is charcoal."

Ha! Ha! Talking about debating . . . this is put up a Christmas tree time now.
My wife wants this very out of place dying Pine tree:

I want this non-native very out of place (they become invasive here birds berries spread) holly tree:

It’s O.K. either way as it saves a native Douglas Fir tree. Or in the deep shadows a native Western Red cedar or Hemlock tree:

I found that this Pine tree had good reason to be sick and dying:
A dog? goat? tie off rope placed in the past, forgotten had strangled it:

Sounds great locations- i live on a main road about 3 miles from a tiny town vassar,mi -next biggest town is 10 miles away or or about 16 miles to saginaw mi-i wish i had bought a house a little farther out in the sticks, or off the main road, too much road noise, and probley polution, though this place is much better than when i lived in poor side of flint michigan, city.

I would take Vassar over Flint or saginaw any day of the week. They have a pretty decent ice cream stand and a huge elevator. I think a train station converted into a restaurant. There is good waterfowl hunting up by sand point and good fishing, by sebewaing but you need a fairly large boat or be a good swimmer.

Amen to that,i have not gone fishing in years, though this thumb area of michigan has plenty of waterways or fishing spots, i suppose a famley could survive a long time fishing all the lakes ,ponds, and the great lakes without running out of fish for many years.

Hi All.
We had my immediate family Christmas get-together last night. Me and my three sisters and their begats and significant-others. We’ve gotten very spread out now: Alaska - American to the SW - to even Europe with here; western Washington State as the central point . . . so the funny early time.
My ask-to-all was experiences with vehicle dash Camara’s as my wife has finally conceded to one, IF I GET ONE TOO. Sigh.

An adult nephew was asking all about experienced power outages. Wife and I recently just for two daylight hours.
So this video is timely and significant. For some may seen “but-of-course” and info lightweight.
But lots of think about-it, details presented from her actual I-Am-Doing-This, though:

Ha! I made my choices decisions, and have learned to live with them:

You? Still dithering?
The theme of this video presentation is what are you are going to do about yourself and those depending on you. Call it the DOW-Way.
No asks for money.
No asks for pile-on social media pile-on opinions, or votes.

Watch; and think about it.

Me. I’m going to drag out of stacked-over, hidden; a couple of three of my generators and start-up exercise run them today. Start up the three let-set gasoline “fuel-storage” vehicles not ran now for 4-6 weeks and move 'em a round a bit.
But then I am known to be a bit crazy, loving to hear IC engines running.
My Christmas gift to me!

All good information. Have not heard that about the Stabil before. I do put it in my gas cans just because you can buy it anywhere. Haven’t seen the ethanol shield anywhere I shop. Anyway here is something a lot of people are not aware of. A generator that has been sitting for long periods of time without running will occasionally not produce power. You should go out and test any of them you have and make sure that will produce electricity. This guy annoys me but a couple of good ways to fix that problem.

Love to hear them ICE run too Steve. Dana’s dad Frank is old school no newer cars for him like me. We just love to hear the old 440 Dodge engine come to life on start ups. The rumbling of this engine at idle. It is different from the 350 Chevy or my Dodge Dakota V-8 5.2 liter. This is good advice to all for the cars and trucks, tractors, or anything with a ICE, start them up and let them run monthly. This is a good time to check the battery too. Put it on charge or have a battery maintainer on it.

We have gone from 28 chickens down to 9 chickens, need to up our numbers with some new ones. Lost the rooster too, just up and died. Still have some eggs but not enough for everyone in our large families.

My sister has mucho chickens and sells eggs at the roadside. Not for profit, but for fun. She says her place is “infested” with chickens.

Well, I suppose some charcoal would go along well with those 9 month old eggs.

Was browsing YouTube, and guess who I found?
@sbowman
I guess the Georgia Traveller uploaded some of their old videos.

Cody,
How in the world did you find that? That video shows the original version of the instrument which I overhauled about 1980 to its present form. I’m not sure I ever saw that particular interview on TV. The people I lived and worked with that summer were opposed to having a TV in their home. I’m not sure how they felt about people coming into their home to do an interview destined for showing on TV. That is an amazing find. You made my day. Thanks for sharing. I am blown away by it. I was 24-years-old at the time. I’ll soon be 70.

What a great gift! What an amazing coincidence, except, I’m not a believer in coincidence. But I am a believer :slightly_smiling_face:
