Actually, I did threaten them with that, if they didn’t turn the volume level down.
It worked.
For about 5 minutes.

Not exactly gasifier but you may need to tie something down.
Worked for me. Wouldn’t use it for my truck or anything, but that looks like it’d be handy to throw in my pack for camping or whatnot. If it works, I might make myself some similar.
I bought some of these barrels.
They are “food grade” and had corn syrup in them.
It looks like there is some kind of coating inside.
Do I need to burn that out before I make charcoal in them, or use them for other gasifier projects?

Again not gasifier but Dakota related. Sockets for the upper threaded ball joints. I think these are right but it wouldn’t hurt to verify that they are 2 9/64" flat to flat with the seller. Some replacement ball joints are to large for the socket at around 2 11/64" (actually measured 2.168) but usually are not to hard to install by other means. This also means the socket may not fit if your replacing ball joints that have already been replaced. The old ones can be a pain to get out without a socket.
I replaced mine. In a few days it popped out. I was told a spot weld to prevent that.
Not a bad price for a 6 blade fan
EDIT: I got two, but they are slightly bigger footprint, and don’t mix with seachoice very well.
straight silicone couplers 2inch to 4inch dia without clamps, I’ve purchased some but haven’t got them yet so can’t vouch for them yet, cheapest price I’ve seen.
Here is a good price on drums if anyone happens to be near Tuscaloosa Alabama.
Throttle body’s …
Here’s a very good deal on check valves. Each one includes two Fernco-type rubber couplers, and SS clamps! That’s 10 valves, 20 Ferncos and 40 SS clamps, for $60 and free shipping.
EDIT: For some reason he’s listing these one at a time. If the listing is sold, look for other items by the same seller, he’s probably relisted it.
For reference, I have used these valves to eliminate the manual operated ball valves on gasifier inlet, blower outlet, air filter lines, and pressure relief valves underhood. They work awesome, I’ve never had one get stuck or leak.
Thanks Chris S i was just about too ask you about them working on my inlet air, because as you have experianced when you stall the motor, out rolls the smoke from the intake air pipe. Can you mount them virticle or just horzonal.?
Thanks Chris .
I couldn’t let that deal pass by
They can work either way. Vertical works great, it takes very little pressure to lift the flapper. If they are mounted horizontal make sure the hinge is on top, and the valve is slightly angled up, so they fall closed.
Good going! Let me know how those Fernco’s look, I’m curious if they’re the real deal or super-cheap knockoffs… can’t tell from the picture. The ones I’ve bought before didn’t come with those.
Thanks for the tip Chris
I couldn’t pass that deal either.
I took the wife out shopping and yard saleing this morning .
Two bucks is not bad for an air tank ( gasifier parts )
