Thanks Tone, then I think I’m in, sorry I’m a LITTLE sluggish.
Ha. Motor, More and Silo. I never thought I learns another language at this age but there I am speaking a little Slovenian.
Jan, I’m glad you succeeded, you will soon be a specialist in diesel engines, as you can see, setting the limit is very precise, and it also happens that the engine runs without diesel fuel when the gas is very caloric. I am slowly working on the gasifier, I have calibrated the place of installation on the tractor a bit, I am thinking about a tipping bracket, so that the gasifier could tilt when emptying the ash, …
Wow, that’s a nice and shiny unit, Tone. The tractor will now need a little rubbing and wax on hood and fenders to blend in.
You must have way better wax than we can get here JO. You would have better luck rubbing a coke bottle to get a genie out of it.
If that’s old lead based paint it might buff back to a brighter color.
What a great you have.
Yes, it is probably the best place to wear it, is it possible to weld in the beam that goes under the tractor, or is there some kind of cast iron in it?
Here I am attaching pictures of some details, condensate drain, gas outlet, filling opening with lid, …
So you will have a hot hopper with a small portion on top for condensing?
I want to say they had adapter kits for Imbert gasifiers to achieve this style once they found out how useful a Monorator was.
tone, on my first gasifier i have had also the gasket on the part of the hopper, was easier because made of a car rim, and when it was not so thight i could give ash around, also in case of a not more so good gasket…and the gasifier stands normally under the roof, only outside when is used for work…but than it was not so practicable because when it was outside for some days for firewoodcutting and rain comes, it must be covered or water stands in the groove of the gasket, what cannot escape, and for a while provocates rust under the gasket, so i modified to gasket grove on the lid part…
maybee for longlife reasons of your gasifier would be helpfull you make another piece around the lid, in way that the gasket grove is protected from entering rain water…
nice work your gasifier and the hearth construction
That was my thought too when I saw it. Also it would keep junk out of the groove.
Sitting and waiting to go and get 4 de syringe against kovid, was out and looked at the placement of agg on the tractor, and was hesitant if there is any idea to put it on, Hmm.
Thinking about what JO said, that he does not ride that much, I do not either, but at the same time I can use it for the generator and run the sawmill etc., and for the chunker, hesitate.
. Jan, don’t hesitate, look how it suits him, you won’t give up in the finish now, … Jo, tell him that the majorettes are waiting at the finish line, who would they put a wreath on and give a warm kiss,…,
That CAT barrel looks perfect on there Jan. Unfortunately now you will have to paint the rest of the tractor yellow.
Don’t try and get all humble on us again Tone. This thing is great.
First picture, is it to touch the grate?
Looks very good, you got it in against the tractor, even though you have a whole oil barrel.
Interesting your pivot down gasifier Tone.
Yes, a lot of tractor maintenance points then easy opened up with it swung down.
Smart. Very smart.

@Jan, you can’t just quit when you’re so close.
Make sure you both reseive warm kisses. I know I would try finish the build in a hurry
