THANKS for all the VIDIO’S with all your wood gasifier trucks, they really build our confidence on knowing its going to work after finish building, I got my first 30 or 40 miles today out of my 1999 Dakota 318, runs real good, though I have my air cleaner choke plates all the way closed, and she flashed back once or twice, SO I probbly got few more air leaks to run down, other than that it is about finished. THANKS MUCH for the professional build design at such a affordable price, it really feels good to be barreling down the road, and the gas gauge not moving.I have not tried rotating distributor yet, I bet that adds some power, and less flash back in the hopper too.

While out running around today I turned the camera on a couple minutes

Always enjoy watching your videos. You make it look so easy. You said someone observing you driving wouldn’t know that you were driving on wood instead of gasoline. Apparently YouTube doesn’t know the difference either.

Subtitles caught the word wood as good. It must not know about driving on WOOD.

P.S. When you are tired of that rain send it up here. It seems like we can never get enough.

Thanks for the video, Wayne.
What Bronlin said. Sweden could use some rain too. We’re ok around here, but from what I’ve read 11 outof 21 regions risk being low on ground water this summer. Occational light showers keep the vegitation green though.
Other than that, life goes on. DOWing, like you say, just about every day. No new bells or whistles, just producing ash and condensate in a steady stream. It’ll be 9 years of DOWing in a couple weeks. I’ve lost track on total miles or wood consumed. Thank you, to all of you, for the guidance over the years.

I am getting homesick to hear that v-10 rumble Wayne. You still got a camera?

Hello Mr. Don

While driving over the weekend I was about to do some filming but then thought I had bored folks enough .

I will see if I remember how to operate the camera .

Perfect hint, Don. I don’t think we can ever get bored watching some sunny Alabama summer DOW. Over here rain is pouring down, leafs are turning yellow and evenings are already getting dark and cold.
I watch earlier videos from time to time, but most of them I’ve watched so many times I know exactly what’s going to happen

To add a new perspective, just ask the police officer for the video he took prior to pulling you over for speeding while pulling a hay wagon.

Or like this. We are all energy oriented overhere.

Nice test would be how many Tesla s can be charged on wood behind a V10 :grinning:

Mr. Wayne, I too am having the same thoughts, if I were to record a moment working on wood gas, somehow I feel like I have nothing interesting to show,…
JO, it’s rainy here too, autumn has come, the days are shorter, maybe there will be more time in winter to build a new gasifier,… and there will be some interesting topic for commenting and discussion,…

I, for one and I suspect many others, do enjoy watching and listening to everybody’s videos. It might feel like old news to the one making the video but it is enjoyable to the people watching and gives a warm feeling of being happy for the freedom it gives.
Hard to beat listening to an engine on woodgas.

Thanks for the video Lisa, (and Wayne) :grinning:
I used to think a V-12 was the nicest sounding engine, but now I think the V-10 is the best, especially on woodgas! Still 94F during the day? That is speedo weather over here. :grinning: At my age, I don’t dare to wear those though.

Thanks for the video Wayne. I agree with Don. Not a lot of engines sound as good as your v10 on wood gas! Though like Don said the v12 comes very close.

I wonder what a v12 would sound like on wood gas🤔….

Great proof-of-use for daily use of wood-for-power Wayne and Lisa.

Yours, J.O.'s, Tones and others with cumulative miles/kilometers/hours of usage are the real meat of the DOW.

Puts a fellow like me; “Can-do, if ah’ hafta’” to shame.

And puts the talk-to-death never-do’s; and the in-it-for-the-science; and for-the-investors $'s guys in their places too. Ranting, chanting set-asides obscurity.

You fellows actually Doing, Using, daily-weekly are the true inspirations.

Man-o-man am I ever getting old and grumpy. Keep slipping into local-yokel colloquial.

Best Regards

Thanks for the video, Wayne!

Yesterday, on my way home from work, I was forced to adjust the air-mix to almost all the way closed too. I lost power after an intake-pop and suspected a tennis ball, but coming home I noticed the inner tubing slip-fit connection into the hayfilter had popped out. I was surpriced was able to DOW at all, with the piping dangling only close to the hole  Shows how forgiving woodgas really is.

I noticed Lisa never checked the second mailbox. I guess it’s the bill-box
