Tone, she has always complained my side of the bed looks like accordian bellows - even before woodgas. The slight attractive smoked touch that water and soap can’t handle is only an improvement

Mr. Wayne, thanks for the posts, it is always interesting to watch the start-up of a wood gasifier and the start-up process. I see that you blow air in the opposite direction for a long time to heat the charcoal and push the moisture out. I imitate you in this, but I can only say that during a “cold” start-up I blow air back for a short time, but when I do the start-up after a few hours after stopping, it is for a longer time, because there is a lot of moisture in a warm gasifier.

Good morning JO .
My brother has never been interested in wood powered vehicle’s and I can understand why . Back in the late 60s he went to work with the locale propane company and was given LP for his home heating and motor fuel . He has two pickup trucks set up duel fuel gasoline and LP .
