A guide for driving a vehicle on chargas

Hi Steve:
Thank’s for your comment.
My original presentacion was going to be of 20 minutos and I was going to comment about this forum. But when it was my turn, they was running late so they asked me to shorter 15 minutes max. So I have to cut off some things.
I also learned a lot when making the topic “Drawings-of-charcoal-gasifiers-for-vehicles”.
I come up with the simpliest design that it showed up in my mind. You are right, the gasifier of Gary Gilmore at his Ford Ranger 2004, wolud be the most similar. But simplier. Thank’s Gary!! Also your design is close enough. Thank’s Steve.
The gasifier is only a small part of the total. I have to work a lot testing different filtering systems, and the adaptation of the gasification system to my truck. Sure everybody has to go thru this learning process.
But to be honest, I enjoyed a lot with the technical process, and I do not feel so confortable during the media/publiciting process all for free. But I support it as a duty/burden for humanity.
I worked three days subtiteling this youtube video for this forum, but now I do not see my work…

That was a excellent video and talk on how to use organic waste as fuel to drive a vehicle down the road and for long distances too. I hope and pray this video will find it’s way out into the world to all the peoples that need it. By the Great Yehovah and His word yeshua the Son for Yehovah’s Name Sake and Glory.
Eddy, you and your wife and family, freinds are Blessed in His Name for all the work you are doing.

Dear Eddy,
It is so beautiful to see your dream come true. God knew that your gasifier would receive the most attention at this specific time. I praise Him for His timing and for your good work of kindness.
In my opinion, being a godly man who honors his wife may be your greatest contribution in this moment.

Hi Bruce:
Thank’s for your kind words.
I will never forget that you helped me in this project, specially with the English translation of my manuual.
I thought about you to help me revise and correct my English subtitles on my Youtube video, but I do not know how to previously forward it to you. Probably, my English subtitles sounds like “Tarzan”, but English speaking people seems to understand it any way.
You are also a godly man and a model to me.
Truly yours.

Eddy,
You mention in your book issues with keeping the carburetor clean. I’m having the same problems with my Toyota Corolla on charcoal. Are you still feeding the charcoal gas through the carburetor? If so, what have you found helps to keep it clean?

Eddie,
I found another video! (or rather the AI found it for me) you have been holding out on us!
Again, watch with YouTube “auto-translate” enabled and enjoy a well-produced film. :cowboy_hat_face:

I thought I’d show how the carburettor on the Iller (saab v4) looks like, I’ve driven this for 2 winters about 50-100 hours, usually not over 2500rpm.
But I run on spruce and pine wood.
Also drive on petrol for the last 3-5 minutes, when I’m unsure about tar.

Jan and others,
My car got so it would not run on gasoline. The guy who cleaned the carburetor for me said that none of the usual solvents would touch it. He ended up scraping it off and said that it was like concrete. I haven’t seen any signs of tar, so I assume it is a small amount of fine charcoal dust mixed occasionally with some moisture. It’s running again on gasoline now and I’m determined to keep this from happening again. I have added a paper filter as a final filter above what I already had for the gas. I have limited space. What type of filter would get rid of the very fine dust and take up the least space?

I bet those pleated spa filters would work pretty well as the final filter. They can get wet so they shouldn’t crumple from any moisture in the gas.

Cody,
I have used those before, but with other changes which I thought were as good or better, I no longer had room in the 7 gallon bucket for the filter. Actually it was a swimming pool filter, but I suppose they are about the same thing. What I have done, is I purchased an automotive paper air filter roughly 9 inches in diameter and 2 inches deep and mounted it to the lid of the 7 gallon container. The container is about 11+ inches in diameter. I was able to squeeze it in to about 3 inches of depth at the top and keep everything else like it has been. So, now there is about 10 inches of pine needles, 1 inch of a mattress fill material, 3 inches of oiled foam rubber, topped by that paper air filter with maybe 1/2 inch space between each different type of filter. I’m just wondering if I can do any better than that in such a small space without choking down the engine. I have a vacuum guage hooked up for tomorrow’s test of the revised filter to it to see how much back pressure I have now.
