Does anyone know of good solar street, flag, or yard lights that will last more than 6 months?

The dollar store sidewalk ones have a rechargeable AA size battery in them. I assume it is nicad. I might be mixed up but I thought NiCad was the one with the battery memory issues.
They die because of corrosion from water getting in. Properly sealing them would go a long way to extend their life. replacing the battery with one that is freeze proof and can be recharged without memory would also help a lot. It does not protect them from getting hit with the hoe or someone stepping on them.

Mine have all lived very short lives and with low output. I might run a 24v line to wired pucks and handle the solar and battery aspect separately. 24 volts is low enough you don’t have to trench and/or encase the line but high enough voltage that you should get some decent light without just heating the wire.
If someone finds good solar pucks that last or can be made to last… I’m all ears.

They make commercial ones. Here is one. but it is 3.4k without the pole.
the is a bit more budget friendly but I suspect the battery isn’t there.
