The only thing wrong with this scheme is that the Raptor needs to be on woodgas. In other words a Smart Truck. Interesting math in the video.

This silly test might show that more miles per pound of wood would be gained by charging an EV with a woodgas generator than driving directly on wood. Even assuming both vehicles were about the same.
The problem, at least for me, is the EV battery. Still too expensive to get the job done. After you figure out how far you need to go, you need to add more miles range or batteries to compensate for not draining battery down too far, winter driving and loose of range after five years of use.
The Smart Truck (woodgas) still makes more sense to me. Electron Musk still hasn’t earned my dollar.
