Those interested in wood and particularly charcoal gasification might find this interesting, if you are not already aware of it. A made-for-TV movie from the 60’s, “The Longest Hundred Miles” features a bus powered by charcoal. This introduction to charcoal gasification when I was a teenager finally led me to build a charcoal gasifier this year, decades after seeing the film. It is currently available in two parts on YouTube. Enjoy.
